Belen Sisa

Belen was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She arrived to the United States with her family when she was 6 years old. She began to become active in the immigrant rights community and in politics when she witnessed the effects it had on her family and personal life as an undocumented student in 2012 after graduating high school in Florence, AZ.

DJ Quinlan

DJ Quinlan is a political consultant and campaign strategist based in Tempe, AZ. He has advised candidates across all levels of the ballot on voter-contact strategies, messaging and the use of data analytics in campaigns.

Erin Connelly

Erin Connelly is a consultant, strategist and producer, but is a community organizer at heart. Currently based in Scottsdale, Arizona, Erin advises clients and candidates throughout the Southwest on media, fundraising and marketing campaigns, as well as production and distribution of commercials and films.

Celeste Plumlee

Celeste Plumlee is the Hunger Program and Policy Manager at the Arizona Community Action Association and a Faculty Associate in the Arizona State University School of Social Work.

Francisco Luna

Francisco Luna is an Undocuqueer organizer in Phoenix, Arizona. Now 27, He got to the U.S. when he was only 11. He has been organizing since 2012 when, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) was announced in immigration.

Imraan Siddiq

Imraan Siddiqi is a writer, entrepreneur and activist, who currently serves as the Executive Director of The Council on American Islamic Relations of Arizona (CAIR-AZ.).

Jade Richardson

Jade Richardson is with the LGBTQ Democratic Caucus. Jade was born and raised in Southern Colorado in a family of civil rights activists and Democratic politicians, her grandfather and uncle both holding the office of County Commissioner in Conejos County, Colorado.

Jennifer Longdon is a Phoenix-based speaker, writer, and advocate. She is the Public Impact Advisor to the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation and serves on the Phoenix Mayor’s Neighborhood Advisory Council and as President of Arizonans for Gun Safety.

Josselyn Berry

Josselyn Berry is a Communications and Nonprofit Professional working in the political sphere. Josselyn had her first taste of politics and how it could change lives after an internship at Arizona Capitol Times, where she published an in-depth article profiling Arizona’s Dreamers, young Latino activists fighting for immigrant rights.

Kathy Nakagawa is with Asian Pacific Community in Action. She is an associate professor of Asian Pacific American Studies in the School of Social Transformation at Arizona State University.

Kiana Sears

Kiana Sears is with the East Valley NAACP. Kiana is a compassionate community and public policy advocate, whose life’s purpose is to use her voice to inspire and empower young ladies, communities of color and all minority groups to participate in all aspects of governance (entrepreneurial, corporate, political and communal) and to do so by leading by example.

Tamar Rala Kreiswirth is Co-Founder of TAGG, The AZ Ground Game, a new organization focused on encouraging and supporting active citizenship through neighborhood building and public policy education.

Luis Heredia works as a senior congressional staffer. His leadership roles in political campaigns include: campaign manager for Felecia Rotellini for Arizona Attorney General, Arizona Democratic Party’s executive director, and consultant for several legislative and local races.

Marcus Ferrell

Marcus Ferrell is with Progressive Democrats of America. Marcus most recently served as the African American Outreach Director for Bernie Sanders 2016 presidential race.

Mary Rabago

Mary Rabago – Mary Rabago Productions: With a career spanning over 20 years in various media companies nationally and internationally, Mary Rábago has become a very well known and respected public figure, a multi-award winning journalist.

Michael Martinez

A proven leader, he spends his days advocating for more accessible and affordable higher education as Deputy Director of the Arizona Students’ Association, he serves as President of the Maricopa County Young Democrats, a Vice-Chair of his legislative district, sits on the Arizona Democratic Party’s executive and state committees, and is a member of the Mesa Arts Center Foundation board.

Miriam Weisman

Miriam Weisman is an activist whose outreach extends to all communities. Miriam has been involved with the Anti-Defamation League for 15 years and has served as board chair, education committee chair and is presently the National Chair of Education. She is an anti-bias facilitator for both ADL and GLSEN. She passionately believes in the ADL mission to stop the defamation of the Jewish people and to protect the rights and secure fair treatment for all.

Sam Richard

Sam Richard is Executive Director of Protecting Arizona’s Family Coalition, a nonpartisan and inclusive organization focused on uniting the community to be a powerful voice for Arizona’s vulnerable.

Warren Stewart, Jr.

Warren Stewart, Jr. is the founder and lead pastor of Church of The Remnant. As a Phoenix native, he grew up as a “preacher’s kid” in the black Baptist church where his foundation of faith was forged and he was shaped for future ministry working in multicultural churches and ministries. With his strong passion for the broken and oppressed to find redemption through Jesus, Remnant South Phoenix was strategically planted to see the renewal of this community through a gospel-centered and intercultural-church.

Quiana Dickenson

Quiana Dickenson is highly skilled and trained in conflict resolution, community conflict management, communication, training, public speaking and political strategy. She serves as an adjunct professor of public administration and communication for several nationally and regionally accredited institutions.

Randy Perez

Randy Perez is a progressive community organizer and Campaign Manager based in Phoenix, Arizona. His mission is to empower young people and communities of color with the sustainable skills and tools to create positive change in our community.

Reyna Montoya

Reyna Montoya is Founder & Executive director of Alliento. Reyna was born in Tijuana, Mexico and immigrated to Arizona 13 years ago fleeing violence. She is an undocumented/DACAmented community organizer, an educator, and a dancer.

Richard Crews

Richard currently serves as the Community Impact Manager of Thriving Together for Valley of the Sun United Way, a birth to career initiative to ensure that all children, youth, and young adults in Phoenix realize their full potential in school, career, and life.

Rodd McLeod

A longtime adviser to former Arizona Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, Rodd managed her campaigns, including her difficult re-election during the 2010 Tea Party wave, and ran her district offices. He helped steer the winning campaigns of Arizona Congressmembers Ron Barber, Kyrsten Sinema and Tom O’Halleran.

Roy Herrera, Esq. is Of Counsel in the firm’s Litigation practice group. He focuses on complex litigation, including securities litigation, class actions, and business disputes. He also defends individuals and businesses against criminal allegations, and in regulatory and internal investigations.

Jacqueline Sandoval

Jacqueline Sandoval is a graduate of Northern Arizona University, she currently serves as the Communications and Outreach Liaison with the Arizona House of Representatives and a State Committee and Precinct member for Legislative District 29.

Shannon Schell

Shannon Schell is the Director of Public Policy at the Arizona Coalition to End Sexual and Domestic Violence. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in Social Work from Arizona State University.

Shayna Stevens

Shayna Stevens currently serves as the Executive Director of the Arizona Students’ Association. An NAU alumni, Shayna is a veteran of the student movement in Arizona. Through her involvement with ASA, she has taken part and led numerous issue campaigns and registered thousands of students to vote.
